Embracing your hare (a bra's perspective)

Mulla se afroIn February 2007 we had a mooi kullid kin’ write ‘n article about coloured meisies coming to terms with their curly hare and embracing what makes them the beautiful brown people they are.

As some of yous know, I’ve been working in London for amper three maande now and with the change in location I soema decided I’d grow my hair awso.

Back when I was small I had a moerse klomp issues because my hair wasn’t so straight like my broetjie’s. It het oekie gehelp dat die fokken laaities my vir ‘n jap gevatit ‘ie. Die donners het my soema “Michael Jackson” geroep.

But anyways… I digress (jurre, who would’ve thought nuh… ‘n kullid laaitie can soema “digress”)…

I spoke to my chommie and he was wysing me how he used to straighten and blow dry his hare and then he must nogals doggie paddle by St James (ja… no pools in those years) so that his hair don’t mince.

So, this is just a note to wys the kullid ouense that you don’t need to have a number one boys’ cut or spend a moerse lot of time and money on gelling your hare to get that perfect spikes… you can awso embrace what makes you different.
