Now we will work on trimming the squad because Mourinho wants 22 players and three goalkeepers. There will be some painful goodbyes.

I think Zlatan, David n Mario is going to stay… the others are suspect – but Hernan is class, so dunno there.

Saturday 21 June 2008, Netherlands after topping their group of death with a 100% record and amazing football display, were kicked out of the Euro 2008 tournament!

Kykie, Netherlands is the team that I have been supportive of since I can remember supporting football. Always the team to watch! Playing amazing football with some classy football skills and technique!

Robin van Persie, Wesley Sneidjer, Rafeal van der Vaart, Dirk Kuyt, etc are all brilliant players! With amazing footballing skills!

But this saturday was different. Russia who is coached by another dutch ex-total-footballer, Guus Hiddink, played the best football so far of the tournament! ONE PLAYER in particular was simply outstanding!

Arshavin!!! Arshavin!!! Arshavin!!!

That’s what the croud was shouting after Russia got ahead in the game!

Then single handedly, he took the game from Netherlands and to the semi-finals!

Well done to Russia and all the best for the rest of the tournament!
